Normally I’ll have 2 Easters to debut a floral or pastel color outfit, but this year I had only one. Unfortunately it was a hot and sticky Easter (thankfully not as hot and miserably sticky as last year’s); fortunately Pasxa was early enough in the season this year that although it packed some heat, there was a nice spring breeze that cooled us all off as we sat outside and celebrated the holiday with lots of lamb and lots of wine. *salivates*

Earrings : “Sophee” Kendra Scott – rose gold

Steve Madden espadrilles “Elody” (DSW)

Espadrilles make me jump for joy and are THE epitome of summer/springtime shoe.

Love a braid crown for warm days

Top : Stitch Fix || Bottoms : H&M Twill shorts

I’m normally not a fan of flowy tops (they make me feel large and shapeless) but this is perfect for the season and my gal-pal Kristen picked it out for me.

Kept makeup very light. My parents have been hosting Greek Easter for an eternity, and as their offspring, we’re expected to help. Which means, there’s a lot of running around trying to be co-hostesses with the mostest(-esses).

The Glam Greek

Xristos Anesti, my friends!!!

You know you’re Greek when it takes you a few days to recover and get back to normal after Easter. And even though this Easter was low key considering the Western & Orthodox liturgical calendars synced up this year, it still took me a full week to rest up. Okay, actually I’m using that as an excuse for not being more on my game. (I’m mature enough to call myself out).

Lips : Kat Von D Backstage Bambi + Anastasia Beverly Hills Party Pink || Necklace : Bauble Bar || Dress : Closet London

I typically prefer Autumn/Winter to Spring/Summer; the weather is good to my hair, makeup, and allergies. But I can enjoy the way that the warm weather and sunshine make me feel, the blooming plants and sense of life and rejuvenation that the season brings. It also helps that I’m obsessed with florals, and this time of year gives me the best excuse to bring out my brightest, most blooming options.

Shoes : Guess

Wearing bright statement pieces help me keep the sunshine on April Shower days

Good Friday, Holy Saturday and Easter are all perfect reasons to dig out the brights from storage and start adding your spring pieces to slay an outfit.

Princess Vibes

I love this dress from Closet London – the perfect timeless, flirty, classy LBD. Usually when a dress comes with a belt, I toss it. They’re typically cheap looking and I can find much better alternatives. But will you check out how cute this one is?

Did I mention this dress comes with pockets?!

With the simplicity of the LBD, I wanted to keep this look simple as well using strategically placed bursts of color with the shoes, the statement necklace and the bright pink lips. So I had the same idea with the makeup for this look.
